AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli could be reunited with Rade Krunic because Fenerbahce are interested in hiring him, according to a report from Turkey.

The general consensus is that Pioli is entering the final few days of his tenure as Milan’s head coach. There are several reasons for this, but above all it is the results in big games this season which will cost him, such as the early exits in Europe and the six derby defeats to Inter in a row.

No matter what happens from now, Pioli will remain the coach that ended the Scudetto drought, that regained a Champions League place after seven years of absence and reached a semi-final, but the feeling is that the time has come to move on.

According to what is being reported by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu of SportsDigitale, Fenerbahce are a potential destination. They are looking for a new head coach, with Jose Mourinho and Pioli being two of Ali Koç’s candidates. There is one more candidate, as yet unnamed.

If he were to go there, Pioli would reunite with Krunic who left Milan during the January transfer window on a loan with obligation to buy deal, joining up with his compatriot Edin Dzeko.
