Watch: Titans rookie QB Will Levis throws fourth TD in victory over Falcons

Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis arrived in style with a stellar NFL debut against the Atlanta Falcons.

With 6:59 left in the fourth quarter, the second-round pick out of Kentucky threw his fourth TD of the day, this time to wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. The 24-year-old completed 19 of 29 passes for 238 yards in the 28-23 victory.

Tennessee took a risk, trading third-round picks in 2023 and 2024, to select the former Kentucky Wildcat with the 33rd overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. Many questioned the move just one year after using a third-round pick on Malik Willis, including Senior Bowl director and former scout Jim Nagy, who compared him to noted draft bust Brady Quinn in an April interview with OutKick, calling him "Quinn 2.0."

Against Atlanta, Levis made those words look foolish, at least for one game, with his huge debut.

The 24-year-old has a big arm and good size (6-foot-4, 229 pounds). The Titans (3-4) must find a long-term answer at the most important position considering Ryan Tannehill, 35, is entering the final year of his contract. The Titans have to be encouraged by the debut from Levis and hope he can prove to be the team's next franchise QB.
