Ravens RB takes aim at Rob Gronkowski with creative hoodie

Baltimore Ravens running back Kenyan Drake still hasn't forgotten about the 2018 " Miami Miracle " and isn't going to let retired tight end Rob Gronkowski forget either.

Drake, who played for the Miami Dolphins from 2016-19, signed with the Ravens practice squad on Wednesday to begin his second stint with the organization. After three-plus seasons with the Dolphins to start his career, Drake was traded to the Arizona Cardinals in October 2019 and spent one-and-a-half seasons in the desert, before playing with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021. Drake played 12 games (five starts) with Baltimore last year and recorded 109 carries for 482 yards and four touchdowns.

Arguably his most famous play, however, came on Dec. 9, 2018, during the Week 14 matchup between the Dolphins and visiting New England Patriots.

With Miami down by five points with seven seconds left in the fourth quarter, the hosts had the ball at their own 31-yard line. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill connected with wide receiver Kenny Stills, who lateraled to fellow wideout DeVante Parker (now a member of the Patriots) near midfield. Parker then lateraled to Drake, who took off for a 52-yard touchdown to win the game, 34-33.

To this day, many NFL fans question head coach Bill Belichick's decision to have Gronkowski on the field on defense for the final play. In the final sprint to the end zone, Drake evaded "Gronk," who broadcaster Ian Eagle famously said on the call "didn't have the angle" to make the game-saving tackle.
