Noah Syndergaard roasts Trevor Bauer for burning Mets in free agency

New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard isn't too happy Trevor Bauer opted to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers in free agency. The 28-year-old took to Twitter and roasted Bauer for his decision and apology to Mets fans.

Syndergaard didn't mention Bauer by name or tag him in the tweet, but everyone knew exactly who he was talking about.

After signing with the Dodgers, Bauer apologized for leading Mets fans on after his website indicated he had signed with New York. He vowed to donate to several New York charities to make up for the incident in his apology.

Bauer responded to Syndergaard by calling him out for how he's treated fans in the past. The two star pitchers exchanged a few more barbs before Syndergaard told Bauer to just "take a joke, bro."

The National League Cy Young winner's agent, Rachel Luba, even responded to Syndergaard, telling him he didn't do a good job of "throwing shade."

Bauer has a lengthy history on social media and, at one point, even engaged in cyberbullying and harassment. In his opening remarks to the Dodgers community last week, the 30-year-old said he was committed to being better on social media and "in all walks of life."
